Man dies in quad bike crash

A 62-year-old man died at the scene. South Wales Police are appealing for any information or dashcam footage which may help with their investigation.

A man has died following a crash involving a quad bike in the Neath area.

Police were called to reports of the collision at around 1.30pm on Sunday.

The collision is said to have taken place on the northbound carriageway of the A465 between Aberdulais and Resolven.

A 62-year-old man from Resolven died at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.

South Wales Police are appealing for any information relating to the crash or for dashcam footage which may help with their investigation.

The road was closed in both directions on Sunday and motorists were advised by police to avoid the area while they dealt with the collision.
